Kathryn was born in Minneapolis and traveled to many different parts of our country as a child. Through that experience, she has developed a love for God’s beautiful creation and tries to capture a glimpse of it on canvas. It is a constant and exciting quest.
She paints pet and human portraits, heritage family snapshots, birds, landscapes, and abstract florals. Her career as an art director has given her a great sense of balance, composition and color harmony. These qualities help greatly in the development of her paintings.
She hopes her paintings bring joy to others — a memory, a smile, or maybe just hope for a tired soul.
Hi Kathryn – It was so nice to receive your note at the Edina Art Center. Congratulations on both your retirement, and especially on painting full-time. Your work is beautiful. All the Best! Kind Regards, Michael Frey
